  1. These pictures are all really cool. The only thing I guess I would say is that the picture with the food and the Hershey's kisses, the food picture is a tiny bit washed out, but maybe if you increased the contrast or something it would fix it. I love the story that is being told, and its portrayed really well in all of your pictures.

  2. Your pictures are super cool, the way you worked with colors was really good. I love the urban and rural picture! The toilet picture seems really bright and maybe could have the contrast be lowered but if you decide not to it still looks great!

  3. I really like how in each diptic, there are bright neon colors on the right and black and white pictures on the left. You did a great job in demonstrating your theme and I think they all work great together!

  4. Nice job Bella! I love your concentration! I really like all the bright colors that you used and the message your trying to say. The only thing I might change is boosting the contrast in the Hershey's picture.

  5. These are all awesome! I love the use of black and white on one side and color on the other, I would try bumping up the contrast on the toilet I think it would make it an even stronger image!

  6. You have done a fantastic job in conveying your message through this series. I particularly love the last three photos. The colors are so beautiful and I love the contrast that you created in the atmosphere in the diptychs. The black and white pictures are very organic and naturally beautiful while the colorful pics seem so synthetic, but lovely, they make me really want to not like them because they seem so doctored and fake. I'm not making much sense, but I hope you get a little what I mean. I think the only thing that I would change would be to crop the textbook picture so that the books take up the entire image rather than just sitting centered in the picture. Fantastic work!

  7. The theme is very clear and the pictures are very interesting. I LOVE the images that connect (the image with/without make-up, the couch image) and tell a story. The lighting is also very good. The only thing I would change would be maybe boosting the contrast in some of the black and white photos to possibly illiminate some of the gray.

  8. I liked tehe use of color and black & white to portray your theme. They are nicely taken and abstraction is great! But I would maybe work on the contrast and lighting to make some pictures a little more clearler.

  9. This blows my mind. I feel like it is really relatable, and i love the color and editing. I think some are a little glare-y but maybe that is just how you want them to be portrayed. Your plast picture is my all time favorite picture i have seen yet. I want it printed out and in my room. So we should make that happen. :)

  10. Your pictures are all really great, I think that the story your try to tell gets told really well. The pictures all just flow together. I would have to agree that the picture with the toilet is mabey a little bright, but other then that everything looks great.

  11. I can see the pattern: reality vs a fake world. Over and over again. Its a great theme, and there's no lacking in any picture.

  12. The last picture in your series really grabs me. When I first looked at I thought whoa what's the difference, but then you see it. And it is amazing. The line between what's real and what's fake can be really vauge sometimes but I like how you've show that idea through your concentration. It makes you look at things in a different way and realize things have become distorted. You have great contrast in your photos, the only one I didn't really understand was the one of the trees. I didn't make the connection the pressures of body image has from it. You did a really nice job.

  13. These pictures are really awesome!! The colors really pop out. You did a great job showing us the difference between what's fake and what's real. In some pictures, you could boost the contrast a little. But other than that, the mood, lighting, and everything else worked great for you!

  14. I love how you conveyed your theme and the creative editing in each of your images. The progression in complexity and creativity is very apparent as you flip through your concentration series as well. I absolutely love the image of the girl on the couch and how you kept the couch in one piece. I would have to agree with Marielle, though, that the food image next to the hershey kisses looks a little washed out. I understand that you have a set color scheme for the "real life" images, but I think in comparison to the others amongst it, it isn't as bold. Other than that, you did a great job and I love the theme you came up with! :)
