My concentration theme relvolves around the pressure from the media to look perfect. It is something that everyone is affected by, even if it isn't a large pressure in their life. I have felt this for my whole life, so it is something that is very personal. I will portray this by using value, contrast, point of view, light, and color.

Here are some more pictures that I took this week. I am thinking of doing dyptics where one photo is how the media portrays life and the other how life really is. The media life will be portrayed in color and the real world will be in black and white (obviously, I have to switch the color of some of the images above). This color change emphasises on the idea that compared to TV and magazines, everyday life seems boring. After being exposed to this idea enough, people start to believe it.

Your topic is intriguing and will showcase your skills at emphasizing form through lighting in your photographs. I think your dyptich idea adds another level to your ideas. You might want to play with saturating the color in Photoshop on the images meant to portray the media's version of the world.
